How to make long trips more comfortable. If you are generally a restless person or hate long trips in general, we are here to help you: while there is nothing we can do about parents with a crying baby in the seat next to their seat, we can share some tips and tricks to make these long flight sessions more likely.

1. Dress for the occasion
Although you may not be able to get to the airport in your favorite nightwear, you should definitely reserve enough time to choose the outfit where you can feel comfortable for several hours at a time. As a general rule, you may want to avoid tight or revealing clothing as airplanes are generally quite cold and you will want the benefits of heat and freedom of movement at your disposal.

2. Sleep if you can
Crossing into different time zones through flights can cause chaos in the body's daily rhythm, which generally dictates when you're supposed to be awake and when you're supposed to be asleep.

3. Watch what you drink
Keeping your body hydrated on a long trip is a simplified way to stay comfortable. Typically, commercial airliners have a lower humidity level than usual, which can make you feel dry and dry. This means drinking more water.

4. Get out of your seat
Because it is safe to do this and the seat belt light is closed, give yourself a chance to get out and extend your legs. This will not only help circulation, but will also help prevent your legs from contracting.

5. Make the most of your stops
Even if you are often restricted to the airport or the surrounding area to avoid missing your connected flight, there are a few simple things you can do to make the most of your time getting off the plane.
